April 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cosmetics maker Lavena [BUL:LAV] said on Wednesday that it is proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 0.02 levs ($0.011/0.010 euro) per share for 2021.
Lavena paid gross dividend of 0.03 levs per share for 2020.
The company will distribute as dividend a small part of its profit for 2021 which amounts to nearly 1.6 million levs. The remainder of close to 1.4 million levs will become part of Lavena's additional reserve, the company said in a bourse filing.
Shareholders in the company will vote on the proposal at a general meeting scheduled for June 14.
The company's shares last traded at 3.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data showed.
Established in 1962, Lavena owns lavender plantations and exports its products to Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the U.S. Bulgaria is among the world's biggest producers of lavender oil.
