January 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Kozloduy nuclear power plant (NPP) said on Friday it has signed a 43.1 million levs ($24.9 million/22.1 million euro) deal for systems and equipment technical maintenance with French nuclear energy business Framatome's German unit.
Framatome is to provide preventive technical maintenance, overhaul, supply of parts and consumables, database service, diagnostics, as well as system upgrades, the NPP said in a notice.
The deal was signed on December 7 after Framatome submitted the sole tender offer.
Part of the contract, worth some 12 million levs, will be subcontracted.
Framatome designs, manufactures, and installs components, fuel and instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power plants and offers a full range of reactor services.
