May 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Kazanlak municipality, in the central part of the country, said on Tuesday it is relaunching a tender for a 2.8 million levs ($1.6 million/1.4 million euro) contract for the construction of a tourist complex in the town of Shipka.
The project benefits from EU financing under operational programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020, the Kazanlak municipality said in a tender notice.
The contracting authority canceled the previous public procurement procedure for the contract as it attracted no offers, procurement agency data showed.
The tender envisages the construction of several accommodation facilities and a restaurant on a total area of 19,064 sq m.
Candidates in the tender procedure should prove that they have worked under similar contracts in the last five years.
Construction works are expected to be completed within 15 months since their start. The deadline for submitting offers is June 29.
