April 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's government said that it has awarded an industrial minerals exploration permit for the Pripeka area to local mineral extraction and processing company Kaolin.
Kaolin will invest at least 60,000 levs ($37,000/31,000 euro) in exploration activities during the two-year term of the permit, the government said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Pripeka area is located in Dimitrovgrad municipality, in the Haskovo province.
Kaolin is part of Germany's Quarzwerke Group.
