March 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s jobless rate stood at 8.2% in February, unchanged from the previous month, the government's employment agency said on Wednesday.
The number of unemployed people, registered with the labour offices countrywide as at end-February, fell by 107 month-on-month to 269,642, the employment agency said in a statement.
Year-on-year, the total number of registered unemployed people in Bulgaria fell 18.2% in February .
The number of people who found a job in February totalled 16,791.
There were 15,060 registered job vacancies in February. The highest number of vacancies was registered in manufacturing – 4,233 .
Bulgaria, a nation of some 7.15 million, had an active population of 4.35 million as at end-2015, according to the country's statistical office NSI.
