April 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's registered unemployment rate fell by 0.4 percentage points (pp) month-on-month in March, to 6.5%, the Employment Agency said on Thursday.
The registered unemployment rate edged down 0.2 pp year-on-year in the third month of 2021, the government agency said in a statement.
A total of 25,147 unemployed people found a job with the help of labour offices in March, while 25,179 people registered with labour offices in search of employment.
At the end of March, there were 214,052 registered unemployed people, or 11,229 less compared to February and 6,020 less compared to a March 2020, the Employment Agency said.
There were 18,452 registered job vacancies at labour offices in March, or 37% more compared to the previous month. As many as 26.7% of all job vacancies were registered in the manufacturing sector, the agency added.
