January 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's current account showed a surplus of 5.9 billion euro ($6.6 billion) in the January-November period, compared to a surplus of 3.0 billion euro in the like period of 2018, the central bank said on Friday.
The current account surplus in the eleven-month period was equivalent to 9.6% of Bulgaria's expected 2019 gross domestic product (GDP), the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a monthly balance of payments report.
In November alone, Bulgaria's current account showed a surplus of 410.3 million euro, which compares to a surplus of 140.2 million euro in November 2018.
