January 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's trade deficit decreased by 25.7% year-on-year to 4.27 billion levs ($2.3 billion/2.17 billion euro) in the first eleven months of 2016, as imports fell while exports rose, the office of statistics, NSI, said on Thursday.
Exports increased 1.5% on the year, reaching 42.1 billion levs in the period January-November, while imports dropped 1.8% to 46.4 billion levs, NSI said in a statement.
In November alone, Bulgaria's exports rose 1.8% month-on-month, while imports fell 2.5%.
