May 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's current account was in surplus of 654.3 million euro ($729 million) in the first three months of 2019, compared with a surplus of 5.7 million euro a year earlier, the central bank said on Monday.
The current account surplus in January-March was equivalent to 1.1% of the central bank's forecast for Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a monthly balance of payments report.
