March 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's current account showed a surplus of 88.7 million euro ($100.3 million) in January, which compares to a deficit of 139.4 million euro in the same month of last year, the central bank said on Friday.
The current account surplus in January was equivalent to 0.2% of the central bank's forecast for Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2019, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said in a monthly balance of payments report.
