April 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian lender Investbank said on Thursday that it has completed its planned measures to address the capital shortfall found by the European Central Bank last year.
Investbank has secured an additional capital buffer of 52.8 million euro ($57.7 million) - 1 million euro more than the shortfall found by the ECB, it said in a statement.
Most of the funds - 31.27 million euro, were raised through a capital increase.
The lender also capitalised its audited net profit in 2019 and its profit for the first quarter of 2020, calculated according to the ECB methodology, amounting to 15.45 million euro and 4.72 million euro, respectively.
The bank also sold assets for 1.32 million euro.
Currently, Investbank's common equity tier 1 capital amounts to 242.95 million levs.
