February 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's industrial producer price index (PPI) rose by 0.7% year-on-year in January, after decreasing by 0.7% in December, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
The annual increase in the PPI index was mostly backed by an 11.5% rise in the mining sub-indicator, the NSI said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices in Bulgaria increased by 1.8% in January, after a 1.9% rise in December.
The industrial PPI on the domestic market edged up 0.1% on the year and grew 0.9% on a monthly comparison basis. The industrial PPI on the non-domestic market increased by 1.7% year-on-year and rose 3.1% month-on-month.
