March 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's industrial producer price index (PPI) increased 1.4% year-on-year in February, after rising 4.3% in January, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday.
The rise in PPI in February was driven by a 4.7% increase of utility prices, NSI said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices edged down 0.1% in the review period.
The industrial PPI on the domestic market climbed 3.1% on the year and was unchanged on a monthly comparison basis. The PPI on the non-domestic market decreased by 1.1% year-on-year and by 2.5% month-on-month.
