March 28 (SeeNews) - The Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) said it will launch an intraday trading platform on April.
"Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) EAD is pleased to inform you that on the 11.04.2018 at 14:00 CET, the Intraday market segment will be open for real trading with delivery after 00:00 CET on the 12.04.2018 (Thursday)," IBEX said in a statement on Tuesday.
Trading will be conducted through a web-based platform developed by Norway's Nord Pool AS, IBEX said last month.
"The platform supports round the clock trading with gate closure 60 min. before physical delivery, common settlement system and shared collateral with the Day Ahead market segment and also common REMIT reporting platform," IBEX said at the time.
The introduction of the intraday market segment will allow coupling with the European Intraday market by joining the XBID project, which is expected to happen by 2020.
