March 22 (SeeNews) - Hourly labour costs in Bulgaria in the last quarter of 2020 increased by 10% on an annual comparison basis, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Monday, citing preliminary data.
Salary costs rose by an annual 10% in the October-December period, while other labour costs increased 10.1% on the year, the NSI said in a statement.
Hourly labour costs rose the most in services - by 8.2%. The construction segment showed a growth of 6%, while hourly labour costs in the industry sector added 4.6%.
In terms of economic activities, the highest annual growth rate in the fourth quarter, of 25.6%, was recorded in the education sector.
