December 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Hotel Plovdiv 2019 said that it is planning to invest 6 million euro ($6.8 million) in the construction of a mixed-use 16-storey building in Plovdiv-based hospitality complex SPS which it acquired earlier this year.
The new business and hotel centre will offer 200 rooms, as well as a SPA centre with a swimming pool, gym and relax zone, Hotel Plovdiv 2019 said in a statement.
The company is also investing 950,000 levs in the renovation of existing hotel infrastructure, with repair works expected to be completed by the end of the year.
In June, Bulgarian diversified group TK-Hold said that its unit Programni Producti i Sistemi has sold its 100% stake in Hotel SPS for 3.8 million euro.
Bulgarian companies Podem, Shtrom and Markovo Property Investments own stakes of 50%, 40% and 10%, respectively, in Hotel Plovdiv 2019, data from the commercial register shows.
