April 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machine engineering company Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) [BUL:HES] said on Thursday that its non-consolidated net profit increased to some 1.8 million levs ($1.1 million/920,300 euro) in the first quarter of 2021 from 1.7 million levs in the same period of last year.
The company's total revenue edged up to 16.6 million levs in the first three months of this year from 16.3 million levs in the like period of 2020, HES said in an interim financial statement.
Total expenses were little changed at 14.6 million levs in the review period, compared to 14.4 million levs a year earlier.
Yambol-based HES is part of local industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
As at 13:40 CET on Thursday, shares in HES traded 0.93% higher at 5.45 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
