May 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machine engineering company Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) [BUL:HES] said on Friday that it expects its sales revenue to increase by an annual 8.9% in the January-May period.
Sales in May alone are forecast at 8.06 million levs ($4.46 million/4.12 million euro), HES said in a stock exchange filing.
In the first four months of 2023, the company's revenue grew by 9.03% year-on-year, while its preliminary gross profit came in at 2.6 million levs. Sales in April alone stood at 7.9 million levs, with preliminary profit totalling 533,000 levs.
The company previously reported sales of 8.77 million levs in March, 8.65 million levs in February and 8.98 million levs in January.
Yambol-based HES is part of local industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
As of 1545 CET on Friday, shares in HES traded 5.84% lower at 6.45 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
