July 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machine engineering company Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) [BUL:HES] said that its sales revenue rose by 23.34% year-on-year in the first six months of 2021, after recording sales of 6.3 million levs ($3.8 million/3.2 million euro) in June alone.
Sales in July are projected at 5.2 million levs, which would result in a 26.2% annual increase in the company's sales in the first seven months of 2021, HES said in a filing with the stock exchange in Sofia on Tuesday.
HES' preliminary gross profit amounted to 5.5 million levs in the first half of this year.
Earlier, HES reported a sales revenue of 27.3 million levs for the first half of last year.
As at 10:25 CET on Wednesday, shares in HES traded unchanged at 5.80 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Yambol-based HES is a unit of local industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
