April 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machine engineering company Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) [BUL:4HE] said on Friday that it posted sales revenue of 6.3 million levs ($3.6 million/3.2 million euro) in March, slightly exceeding its forecast for sales of 6.2 million levs in the third month of the year.
HES' accumulated first quarter sales rose 13.01% year-on-year to 18.7 million levs, the company said in a bourse filing.
The machine engineering company expects sales of 6.15 million levs in April, which would lead to a 13.49% rise in its accumulated January-April sales.
HES' first quarter preliminary gross profit rose 12.25% on the year to 2 million levs.
HES is part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
