May 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian bottle cap manufacturer Herti [BUL:HTV] said on Friday that it intends to propose to its shareholders to approve no dividend distribution for 2022.
Herti's shareholders will vote on the proposal at a meeting scheduled for June 28, the company said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
Last year, Herti paid out a total gross dividend of 480,552 levs ($267,409/245,702 euro), or 0.04 levs per share, for 2021.
The Shumen-based company grew its standalone net profit to 5.2 million levs in 2022 from 1.39 million levs a year earlier as revenue almost doubled to 90 million levs, mainly driven by sales to EU markets such as France, Germany, the UK and Romania.
Herti shares last traded at a price of 2.48 levs per share on the BaSE segment of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
