October 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian bottle cap manufacturer Herti [BUL:HTV] said that its non-consolidated net profit rose to 564,000 levs ($321,000/288,000 euro) in the first nine months of 2019 from 475,000 levs in the same period of 2018.
Herti's operating revenue increased to 32.5 million levs in the January-September period of 2019 from 30.5 million levs in the comparable period of last year, the company said in an interim financial statement on Tuesday.
The company's operating expenses amounted to 31.9 million levs in the first nine months of the year, up from 30.0 million levs in the corresponding period of 2018. The rise was mainly due to expenses for materials, which rose to 19.7 million levs from 18.6 million levs.
Established in 1993, Herti produces over 1 billion bottle caps per year.
