July 28 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Bulgaria increased by an annual 53% to 5,105 in the first six months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Tuesday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes too went up 50% on the year to 3,422 in the first half of 2021, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.

Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes jumped 69% to 1,619 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 37% year-on-year to 1,024,200 in the six months through June. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 49% higher at 131,443.
