June 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gross foreign debt amounted to just under 41.5 billion euro ($43.3 billion) at the end of April, which represented an annual increase of 5.9%, the country's central bank said.
Gross external liabilities at the end of the fourth month of 2022 were equivalent to 55.3% of the gross domestic product (GDP) planned for 2022, the Bulgarian National Bank said on Thursday in a monthly report.
As at end-April, gross external liabilities with remaining maturity of over one year amounted to 25.37 billion euro, or 61.1% of the total, the BNB added.
