December 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gross foreign debt totalled 36.79 billion euro ($52.43 billion) at the end of October, 0.5% down from the end of 2008, the central bank said on Wednesday.
At the end of October, Bulgaria's gross foreign debt was equivalent to 109.9% of the country's gross domestic product projected for 2009, the central bank said in a statement.
Bulgaria's long-term foreign debt was 24.098 billion euro and short-term debt totalled 12.693 billion at the end of October.
