April 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said on Thursday that it repurchased some 1.97 million of its own shares at an average price of 1.45 levs ($0.82/0.74 euro) apiece on April 26 as part of its ongoing share buyback programme.
The own shares held by Gradus as of April 26 amounted to 2,580,124, representing 1.06% of voting rights, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

Gradus' board approved in January the launch of the share buyback programme targeting up to 3% of the company's equity capital, represented by 7,308,261 shares.
Shares in Gradus last traded on Wednesday when they closed at 1.45 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
