January 31 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said that it repurchased 159,400 of its own shares at an average price of 1.50 levs ($0.84/0.77 euro) apiece on January 30 as part of its ongoing share buyback programme.
The own shares held by Gradus as of January 30 amounted to 462,295, representing 0.19% of voting rights, the company said in a bourse filing on Monday.
Gradus said earlier this month that its board approved the launch of the share buyback programme targeting up to 3% of the company's equity capital, represented by 7,308,261 shares.
As of 1000 CET on Tuesday, shares in Gradus traded flat at 1.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
