March 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GRX] said that it generated a consolidated net profit of 17 million levs ($9.8 million/8.7 million euro) in 2018 on the back of some 158.1 million levs in revenue.
The company's operating expenses totalled 139.8 million levs last year, figures from Gradus' unaudited financial statement, published last week, showed.

Comparative figures were not available as Gradus was set up in November 2017.
In June, Gradus raised 81.4 million levs in a two-day initial public offering (IPO) on the BSE, making it the biggest IPO on the exchange since 2007. Investors subscribed for 45.2 million Gradus shares, or 81% of the total number of offered shares, at a price of 1.8 levs apiece.
The company's shares started trading on the Sofia bourse on August 6, 2018.
As at 13:10 CET on Tuesday, Gradus shares traded 0.27% lower at 1.815 levs.
