January 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] said on Thursday that it repurchased 95,404 of its own shares at an average price of 1.50 levs ($0.83/0.77 euro) apiece on January 25 as part of its ongoing share buyback programme.
The own shares held by Gradus as of January 25 amounted to 244,215, representing 0.1% of voting rights, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
Gradus said earlier this month that its board approved the launch of the share buyback programme targeting up to 3% of the company's equity capital, represented by 7,308,261 shares.
Shares in Gradus last traded at 1.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
