December 11 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Dolna Mitropolia municipality said on Tuesday that it has signed two road rehabilitation contracts worth a total of 2.6 million levs ($1.5 million/1.3 million euro) with a local tie-up, led by construction company GP Group.
The contracts were signed on November 29, the municipality said in two separate notices.
The two contracts were awarded following public procurement procedures which attracted three and two offers, respectively.
GP Group holds a 99% in the tie-up which won the contracts, while GM Engineering owns the remaining 1%, according to data from Bulgaria's registry agency.
The contracts will be financed under the EU-funded Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria cross border cooperation programme.
