April 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) said on Monday that it has signed a road construction deal with a tie-up led by local construction company Galchev Engineering, worth 12.9 million levs ($7.4 million/6.6 million euro), VAT excluded.
The contract benefits from EU finding under Operational Programme Regions in Growth, RIA said in a notice.
The deal concerns a 15.7-km section of the Dupnitsa-Klisura road, in southwestern Bulgaria.
The other member of the tie-up is local Farmville, which controls a 40% stake.
The contract was signed on April 16, according to the notice.
A total of nine companies submitted offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
