January 9 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) said that it has entered local diversified group Holding Sveta Sofia's [BUL:4HS] recent capital increase issue, consisting of 4,999,838 shares with a nominal value of 1 lev each ($0.58/0.51 euro), into the register of public companies.
Holding Sveta Sofia grew its capital to 9.94 million levs from 4.94 million levs through the share issuance, the financial watchdog said in a statement on Tuesday.
Last month, Holding Sveta Sofia said it has raised 18 million levs in its capital increase.
In its capital increase prospectus, the company said it will use the funds raised in the process to increase the stakes it holds in subsidiaries and affiliate companies, as well as to finance debt acquisition.
In November last year, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange transferred the company's shares to its main market from the BaSE Alternative Market.
