June 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cleaning products maker Ficosota said that its net profit edged down to 13.0 million levs ($7.5 million/6.6 million euro) in 2018 from 13.2 million levs in 2017.
The company's sales revenue rose to 201.6 million levs last year from 195.0 million levs in 2017, Ficosota said in an annual financial statement on Wednesday.
Operating expenses increased to 189.7 million levs in 2018 from 185.3 million levs the year before.
Expenses for materials edged up to 131.3 million levs in 2018 from 130.4 million levs in 2017, while expenses for hired services rose to 23.2 million levs from 22.1 million levs.
Ficosota, founded in 1994, is based in the northeastern town of Shumen. It produces detergents, home and personal care products.
