December 17 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian supermarket chain Fantastico, operated by local Van Holding, said that it has invested 39 million levs ($22.6 million/19.9 million euro) in the construction of a new store in Sofia.
The store has a total built up area of 4,700 sq m, Fantastico said in a statement last week.
The new store will employ over 100 people, the company noted.
The store also offers 150 parking spaces.
Fantastico, established in 1991, operates over 40 stores in three Bulgarian cities - Sofia, Elin Pelin and Kyustendil. The company employs over 3,000 people.
Van Holding is fully owned by private investor Valery Nikolov, according to commercial register data.
