January 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian real estate investment trust (REIT) FairPlay Properties [BUL:FPP] posted a net loss of 652,000 levs ($376,100/333,360 euro) in 2021, compared to a net profit of 202,000 levs a year earlier, it said.
FairPlay Properties' revenue grew to some 9.5 million levs last year from 4.4 million levs in 2020, the company said in an annual financial statement on Wednesday.
The REIT's expenses also rose sharply last year, to almost 10.2 million levs from some 4.2 million levs in 2020, mostly due to higher balance cost of assets sold.
Shares in FairPlay Properties REIT last traded on Monday on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange when they closed at 0.63 levs.
