April 19 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange said on Thursday that the financial regulator has approved changes to the underlying index of Expat Romania BET-BK UCITS ETF [BUL:ROX], managed by Sofia-based Expat Asset Management.
According to the changes, the exchange-traded fund will follow the blue-chip BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, instead of the broader BET-BK index, which it tracked until now, the Sofia bourse said in a statement.
As a result of the changes, the ETF will be renamed to Expat Romania BET UCITS ETF.
BET-BK is a free float weighted capitalisation index of the most liquid 25 companies listed on the regulated market.
BET is a narrower index following between 10 and 15 of the most liquid companies listed on Bucharest bourse.
Expat Romania BET-BK UCITS ETF is listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Expat Asset Management is a unit of Bulgaria's Expat Capital.
