August 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:ETR] said on Monday that it closed the first half of 2021 with a consolidated net loss of 12,000 levs ($7,200/6,100 euro), compared with a net profit of 24,000 levs booked in the same period of 2020.
Etropal's revenue grew to some 4.6 million levs in the first six months of 2021 from 3.7 million levs in the comparable period of last year, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Operating expenses increased to some 4.4 million levs in the review period from 3.6 million levs the year before, mostly due to higher expenses on external services.
Shares in Etropal closed at 5.60 levs on the Bulgarian stock exchange on Friday.
