January 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:5EO] said on Monday that its non-consolidated net profit amounted to just 8,000 levs ($4,500/4,100 euro) last year, down from 45,000 levs in 2018.
Etropal's operating revenue fell to 6.7 million levs in 2019 from 8.2 million levs the year before, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Revenue from sale of dialysers decreased to 3.9 million levs from 4.6 million levs a year earlier, while revenue from sale of hemodialysis lines fell to 2 million levs from 2.4 million levs.
The company also lowered its operating expenses to 6.7 million levs last year from 8.2 million levs in 2018, partially due to the decrease in expenses for materials to 4 million levs from 4.8 million levs.
Etropal's assets increased to 14 million levs at the end of 2019 from 12.4 million levs a year earlier.
