October 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian medical consumables producer Etropal [BUL:5EO] said on Tuesday that it generated a slim non-consolidated net profit of 6,000 ($3,400/3,100 euro) levs in the first nine months of 2019, slightly down from 14,000 levs in the same period of 2019.
Etropal's revenue fell to 5.5 million levs in the January-September period of 2019 from 6.3 million levs in the comparable period of last year, the company said in an interim financial statement.
Operating expenses decreased to 5.5 million levs in the review period from 6.3 million levs the year before, as expenses for materials fell to 3.0 million levs from 3.7 million levs.
The company's assets rose to 13.7 million levs at the end of September from 12.4 million levs a year earlier, due to an increase in inventory and trade receivables.
