February 6 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Electricity System Operator (ESO) said on Thursday it has signed a 7.4 million levs ($4.2 million/3.8 million euro) deal with ABB Bulgaria, part of Zurich-headquartered power and automation company ABB, for supply of metering transformers.
The deal envisages the supply of 627 metering transformers, ESO said in a notice.
ESO received three offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
The contract was signed on January 28, according to the notice.
ABB Bulgaria currently has five production bases and a turbocharger service centre. The company employs over 2,800 people in the country.
