September 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] made a preliminary profit of 962,000 levs ($577,600/491,900 euro) on sales revenue of some 25.9 million levs in the first eight months of 2021, it said on Tuesday.
In August alone, the company made a preliminary profit of 86,000 levs on sales revenue of over 3.2 million levs, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

Elhim Iskra posted a preliminary loss of 648,000 levs on sales revenue of some 20.1 million levs in the January-August period of 2020, according to previously disclosed data.
The car battery manufacturer expects to report a revenue of 3.2 million levs for September.
Elhim Iskra is part of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH]. The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
