August 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] made a preliminary profit of 876,000 levs ($522,500/447,700 euro) on revenue of some 22.7 million levs in the first seven months of 2021, it said on Friday.
Elhim Iskra posted a preliminary loss of 747,000 levs on revenue of some 17.3 million levs in the January-July period of 2020, according to previously disclosed data.

In July 2021 alone, the company posted a preliminary loss of 90,000 levs and a revenue of some 3.7 million levs, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
The car battery manufacturer expects to report a revenue of 3.4 million levs for August.
Elhim Iskra is part of local blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH]. The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
