May 13 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Wednesday that its shareholders have approved the management's proposal to skip dividend distribution for 2019 in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
The proposal was supported by the holders of 12,905,790 shares and opposed by the owners of 15,000 shares, according to the minutes of the company's shareholders meeting.

Elhim Iskra's net profit edged down to 469,000 levs ($264,000/240,000 euro) in 2019 from 493,000 levs the year before.
The company distributed a gross dividend of 0.016 levs per share for 2018.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
