March 27 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] said on Monday that will propose to its shareholders to approve the distribution of a gross dividend of 0.02 levs ($0.011/0.010 euro) per share for 2022.
The company plans to pay out a total of 502,168 levs in dividends for last year, of which 339,800 levs will be allocated from its net profit for 2022 and the rest will come from undistributed profit from previous years, Elhim Iskra said in a bourse filing. Board members will receive 2.5% of the remaining 2022 net profit each as bonuses.

The proposal will be put to the vote at a general meeting of shareholders on June 15. If approved, the gross dividend will be paid out over six months, starting August 10.
Elhim Iskra distributed a dividend of 0.013 per share for 2021, or a total of 326,409 levs.
The Pazardzhik-based company, which is part of local diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH], exports over 90% of its output.
Shares in Elhim Iskra last traded at 0.95 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
