January 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] said that it achieved a preliminary gross profit of 334,000 levs ($186,297/170,772 euro) last year, as revenue rose.
The company’s 2022 sales increased by 16.97% on the year to 44.7 million levs, Elhim Iskra said in a bourse filing on Friday.
According to company's annual financial statement for 2021 published earlier, Elhim Iskra closed that year with a standalone net profit of 379,000 levs, a gross profit of 456,000 levs and sales revenue of 38.3 million levs.
In December 2022, Elhim Iskra recorded sales of 2.78 million levs, the latest filing shows. Looking ahead, the company expects sales of 3.8 million levs in January 2023, up by 14.63% on the year.
As at 0915 CET on Monday, shares in Elhim Iskra traded flat at 1.10 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
