October 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Tuesday that it booked sales revenue of 2.30 million levs ($1.31 million/1.18 million euro) in September, roughly in line with its forecast for sales of 2.26 million levs.
Elhim Iskra generated accumulated January-September revenue of 26.87 million levs and a gross profit of 713,000 levs, the company said in a bourse filing.

In the first nine months of last year, the company booked sales of 29.06 million levs and a gross profit of 515,000 levs, according to previously reported figures.
The battery maker expects to book revenue of 2.20 million levs in October, down from its October 2018 sales of 2.97 million levs.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
