SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Monday that it booked sales revenue of 19.6 million levs ($11.2 million/10.0 million euro) in the first half of 2019, in line with its forecast made last month.
In the first six months of 2019, the company generated a gross profit of 648,000 levs, Elhim Iskra said in a bourse filing.
In the first half of last year, Elhim Iskra posted sales of 20.1 million levs and a gross profit of 359,000 levs, the company reported at the time.
The battery maker expects to book revenue of 2.43 million levs in July this year, down from its July 2018 sales of 3.30 million levs.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
