March 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Thursday that it booked sales revenue of 3.1 million levs ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro) in February, in line with its forecast, and posted a gross profit of 85,000 levs in the second month of the year.
The company recorded sales of 3.3 million levs and a gross profit of 227,000 levs in February 2018, according to previously published data.

Elhim Iskra generated revenue of 6.8 million levs and a gross profit of 197,000 levs in the first two months of the year combined, the company said in a bourse filing.
The battery maker expects to book revenue of 3.15 million levs in March.
Elhim Iskra is part of blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
