August 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] said it booked net profit of 160,000 levs on sales revenue of 3.97 million levs ($2 million/2 million euro) in July.
Accumulated revenue from sales since the start of the year amounts to some 26.6 million levs, Elhim Iskra said in a stock exchange filing on Friday.

Last month, the Bulgarian company projected revenue of 3.8 million levs for July.
In the seven months since January, Elhim Iskra has booked a preliminary loss of 529,000 levs, it added in the filing.
The car battery manufacturer expects to report revenue of 3.6 million levs for August.
Elhim Iskra is part of local blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH]. The Pazardzhik-based company exports some 90% of its output.
