SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] said on Friday it recorded a sales revenue of 3.2 million levs ($1.7 million/1.6 million euro) in January, above its forecast of 3.0 million levs, and posted a 33,000 levs loss for the month.
Elhim Iskra expects sales of 3.1 million levs in February, it said in a bourse filing.
The company posted sales of 3.75 million levs and a gross profit of 112,000 levs in January 2019, according to previously published data.
Elhim Iskra is part of local blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
